30 Minutes Free Report Reveals The Arts Of Link Exchange!

 by: Dave Tan

Dear Internet Friend,

Greetings, I will cut to the chase - if you have founded this page that could only mean one thing…you want a proven web marketing technique that will attract more targetted web traffic to your web site and you want to do it all for FREE (no hidden charges, no fee, no affiliates). Who doesn’t? :-)

So what’s Link Exchange anway?

Link exchange is also known as reciprocal link exhange, link swap, link trade - you place my link information on your site and I will place yours on my site. It’s like a barter/trade of exchanging links - you scratch my back, and I’ll scratch yours…sounds familiar?

The best thing about this form of web promotion is that it’s literally FREE and is the most cost-effective way to improve your link popularity.

Ah. Do you feel this material aided you in improving your intelligence of Christian Marketing Services? I hope it did.

The entire galore of awareness on Web Marketing is with us. We assure you that the hierarchy could be accessible at the close.

Note: Link exchange will NOT boost your page rank… link popularity and page rank is two different stories. I will reveal two excellent tools to determine your link poularity and page rank later…

Link exchange will NOT bring you an immediate surge or flood of web visitors rushing to your web site. It’s more like a long term advertising, slowly building up the momentum by increasing your link popularity.

Link exchange can also be thought of as a FREE form of quality advertising for your site. Imagine this, your link partner’s visitor visit his/her page, couldn’t find what he/she is looking for, click on the links page to search for more resources…and your site is included in the link page. What does this means for you? Exactly, FREE targetted visitors for your web site!

WARNING: Exchanging links with unrelated web sites can be HARMFUL & DANGEROUS to both your site and even your business reputation!

Oh, exchanging links is NOT risk-free? Well, it’s risk-free or at least safe if you follow the guidelines below:

Always find for Quality, Complementary, Matching, Related and above all Responsible & Ethical web site/webmaster as your link partner.

NEVER, ever exchange links with web sites that contain porn, violent, racists, hatred materials. Period. Sites that encourage illegal, immoral, irresponsible, unethical activities or contents will ONLY give your customer a bad impression of your business or web site - use your own judgement here! :-)

AVOID swapping links with the following kind web site:

Web site that contains NO apparent content, web site that are so full of affiliate links that it make no sense at all!

Web site with very poor presentation or unacceptable web design (apparently the webmaster doesn’t care about his/her site, let alone your link?) Especially if the site don’t have a clear naviagation system or way to the links page.

In other words, you can’t easily find the links page or your link simply because the webmaster tries to hide it from his/her visitors!

Web site that do NOT categorize their links, especially if they have more than 50 links. Would you like to see your link buried deep within 50 or 100 non-categorized links? Never do the same thing to your link partners too! :-p

Web site that appears to be a link farm or linking to one (including FFA - Free For ALL sites). Same as above, only difference is that such web site will link to almost any kind of web site (including but not limited to illegal and porn sites!), swapping links with such web site will do you more harm than good… avoid it at all costs!

Okay. Your access to this part means that you are very much inquisitive in Christian Marketing Services and Web Marketing. Continue reading, there are more particulars to follow.

Web site that uses third party link exchange service to manage their links - you will notice this when you get a link back from them.

If the link is NOT directly from the website you’re exchanging links with, rather from a third party site (different domain), then delete his/her link IMMEDIATELY (okay this sounds a bit harsh, but do you really want to be penalized for linking to a link-farm? Besides, this is like cheating. Anyway, third party site uses script to verify your link…). You can always contact the webmaster….

I have traded links with this kind of web site before, and frankly, I feel so cheated! (those links are not very valuable…) :-(

Above all, web site that is under construction and even worse, always offline and unavailable, you know those scary 404 errors - page not found (your link will be offline too!)

There are some web sites/webmasters that are really picky about which sites they will exchange links with. They will basically ONLY exchange links with site that meets a certain page rank…

These web sites may or may not have a high page rank or link popularity…I will reveal two excellent tools that will expose their page rank and link popularity now. :-)

How do you check a web site’s Page Rank and Link Popularity?

To know another web site’s or your web site’s page rank, just download this nifty Internet Explorer add-on:

Google Toolbar: http://toolbar.google.com/

When you’ve installed it on your computer, the Google toolbar will reside nicely on top of your Interter Explorer browser. Be sure to enable page rank view.

To view another web site’s or your own web site’s link popularity, you simply insert the to the appropriate URL right after the q=&url=

Alexa’s Link Popularity Checker: http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?q=&url=

For example:

http://www.alexa.com/data/details/traffic_details?q=&url=http://www.yoursite.com/

Visit alexa.com: http://www.alexa.com/ if you have any questions or simply want to know more about link popularity.

Is Link Exchange difficult?

Is writing a simple friendly email difficult?

There are basically two ways to exchange links. Before you start exchanging links, make sure the web site meets all the neccesary requirements to be your potential link partner.

More importantly, make sure the webmaster is interested in link exchange (Visit that particular web site and find the links page).

Add your link and wait for reply…

Usually there’s a “add your link” or “submit your site” link. These are script that the webmaster written or installed to facilitate the process of link exchange.

It’s an easy way to exchange link, you just basically fill in your name, email address, link information, and the reciprocal URL. After you’ve submitted your link information, simply wait for the webmaster to reply your request.

It usually takes around 1-2 days, but I’ve also experienced webmaster who takes more than a week (in some cases, two weeks!) to approve a simple link request…hmm, either they are simply too busy or don’t care!

A good rule of thumb is to allow up to a week (7 days) for a web site to reciprocate. If they do not reply within a week, you know what to do… :-)

Email the webmaster personally…

This approach to link exchange is far more better and effective (in my opinion) because it is more personal and genuine. It may sound a little bit of a hassle and in some cases difficult but heh, quality does come with a price!

For those who don’t know how to write a friendly email requesting link exchange, don’t worry…I will give you a simple yet effective email template.

Very well. Now that you have read till this point, we commit that additionally you will have something extraordinary. Continue reading, there are additional details to follow.

Visit that particular web site, try to find the webmaster’s name and jolt down what interest thing you find in his/her site and tell him/her that his/her site will be a great resource for your visitors.

Hi Jimmy! <--If the webmaster's name is John, use John then :-)

I’ve visited your site: www.jimmysite.com and I really like it. Your site looks very professional and interesting.

I think your site will a great resource for my visitors so I have included your link information on my site:

http://www.yoursite.com/links_1.htm <--Always Mention the reciprocal link

Here’s my site for you to review:

http://www.yoursite.com <-Try to make life easier for your link partner :-)

I have included my link information at the bottom of this message.

If you’re interested in exchanging links with my site, please send me an email including your link information and where you’ve placed my link - I will send you an email confirming I have posted your link.

Well done on providing the web users with useful and quality information / services! I hope you will consider this reciprocal link exchange and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

John <-Always mention your name, this is very important!

links@yoursite.com

www.yoursite.com

P.S. If for any reaons you are not interested in exchanging links with me, please just reply me with the a simply no thanks or I’m not interested in link exchange. <-Including a simple and friendly "remove me" will make your offer look more professional and genuine.

General Information:

URL: http://www.yoursite.com/

Title: Offers some products some services

Description: We offer the best X products and Y services…

There! It’s as simple as that! I’m sure you can come up with a better or more creative email template! :-)

As a golden rule, always mention who you are (your name - more personal), where (which web site) you are from and that you’ve included his/her link!

Most webmasters are more inclined to include your link this way…Always make it easy for your potential link partner to find his/her link (provide the exact URL, which category, etc.) and use less than 60-70 characters per line - it will make the email easier for anyone to read.

What if your potential link partner REJECT your link exchange request?

Yes, it is quite possible but if your site meets all the neccesary requirements of a quality link partner, chances of your request been rejected is minimal.

However, as I’ve mentioned before, they are some web sites that are ONLY interested in swapping links with web sites that has a certain page rank…If you really want to exchange links with these sites, you can always try it later when your site have a higher page rank.

Where do you find potential link partners?

Finding quality link partners is becoming quite a challenge, especially if you’ve traded more than 100-200 links. If you’re looking for a quick and list of sites that accept reciprocal linking, here are some of the sites which I’ve used and would gladly recommend:

http://linkpartners.com/

http://www.linkexchanged.com/

http://www.linkalizer.com/

Remember, always and ONLY exchange links with related web sites, that way your chances of getting reciprocated will greatly improved.

Some final thoughts…

One more thing before we wrap this up nice report…although link exchange is a free form of advertising and a great way to boost your link popularity, it does require some efforts and patience to maintain it - this is especially true when you have more than 50 links.

You can save yourself a lot of confusion and trouble if you categorize your links neatly, this will also add some “appeal” for other webmasters to exchange links with you.

That’s all for this report, I hope you had a wonderful time reading it!

Happy Linking,

Dave Tan

HIT COUNTS AND ADVERTISING April 21st, 2007

The fundamental perception on Christian Internet Advertising is what we are extending you. It could add to your knowledge base. For an exquisite and an incomparable experience just read the write-up in upshot.

hen you first open your new site, hits will be slow in
coming (unless you are an expert at generating them). And sales
will be correspondingly scarce. Even so, you need to be checking
your stats and sales with care. The number that matters most to
you is …

The Value Of A Hit

By this, I mean, what is a hit worth to you? (By hit, I
mean one unique visitor or user session.) Compute this number
by dividing total sales amounts (gross profits) by the number
of hits. That is, find the total earned for say a month. This
includes your part of sales of products produced by others,
commissions on sales, and so forth. Your stats will provide
the number of unique hits.

For example, if you have a gross of $200 for the month, and
1000 hits, the value of a hit is 200/1000. Which is 0.20 or 20
cents. If gross was only $50, then this number is only 0.05 or
5 cents.

Moving Averages

With a mature site routinely generating hits, this number is
not likely to vary markedly from month to month. Even so, a good
plan is to include in your results a 3 (or 4) month moving
average. For example, given Jan: $0.30, Feb: $0.20, and Mar:
$0.10, add these three numbers and divide by 3. (30 + 20 + 10)/3
= 60/3 = 20.

The reason this helps is that looking only at the monthly
data, the above looks like an ugly downtrend. The 3 month
average eases that downer feeling. Equally important, it helps
you keep from getting too excited about an apparent up trend.

Fine. Be free in revealing your perception on this report of Christian Internet Advertising.

Don’t forget to comprehend the pages on Web Marketing. They could be advantageous for you. Towards the terminating paragraph, don’t have a short memory to find out the contents on Web Marketing.

Suppose the value for April jumps to $0.40. For the new
average, January is excluded; you look at only the last three
months. This gives (20 + 10 + 40)/3 = 70/3 = 23.33 which is
roughly 23 cents. In considering 23 cents as opposed to 40 cents
for the month, there is a more reserved view of the sudden jump.

I chose numbers here to make things easier to follow. Actual
results for your site will look quite different. And since the
computations, while simple, can be tedious and prone to error,
most who take this sort of thing seriously use a spread sheet
program, such as Excel.

Why These Numbers Matter

The value of a hit is fundamental to what you can afford to
pay for advertising. And you’d like to stay a bit under this
figure. If the ad produces only this value per hit, the campaign
was a fizzle, for no profit was made. (The exception would be
the value of new customers as subscribers to your newsletter,
those who return to purchase other products, and so forth.)

There’s a lot of trial and error in testing ads, but the ins
and outs of it are off topic here. For our purpose, suppose you
have a well tested ad that can be expected to generate 25 hits in
1000 impressions. If the value of a hit to you is 50 cents, then
you can expect a gross of 25 x $0.50 or $12.50.

What this means is you can afford to pay up to $12.50 CPM
(Cost per 1000 impressions) provided hits add to your subscriber
list or returns for other products. If you expect only a one
time sale, you probably will not want to pay more than $6.25 CPM,
so that half of revenue is immediate profit.

With an established site, even given troublesome variations
month to month, it is a fairly straightforward matter to decide
what you can afford to pay for advertising. Things are
different, though, for …

New Or Small Sites

Initially you just don’t have enough hits or sales to produce
numbers that make any sense at all. There is likely to be large
variations each month. Even so, it’s best to begin this kind of
tracking even when only getting started.

Well. Be positive that your probe would go ahead of this point. Continue reading, there are more things to follow.

Probably the best approach is to forget about a 3 or 4 month
moving average, and generate an average this month for all
earlier months. Whatever your results, you can not afford to
advertise until you have a tested ad and feel confident from the
value of a hit the ad will produce profits. For a new site,
unless you already know the advertising game, this may mean
waiting a year or more before even giving advertising a try.

Getting Started With Advertising

Most find advertising in ezines to be the most effective
approach on the Web. The trick is to find ezines directed at
your target. Then test your response to an ad in the least
expensive way. Given a poor or inadequate response, try another
ezine. But given a good response, go for it. In theory,
advertising that works can bring unlimited profits.

Ezine advertizing costs are often stated with a single price.
To make your numbers work, convert this price to CPM. This also
makes it easier to compare costs from ezine to ezine. For
example, if the circulation of an ezine is 4000 and the cost of
the ad is $20, you are paying $5 CPM.

Other Paths

I’ve haven’t heard any recent reports of good success with
banner advertising using the CPM model. Some are reporting
success with the pay-per-click model, which means you pay only
for clickthroughs to your site. This is essentially the same
model used with the pay-per-click search engines such as the one
at GoTo.Com. There are no tough decisions here. If the value of
a hit to you is greater than what you must pay for a click to
your site, go for it. If it’s not, ignore these avenues until
it is.

With an established site, several search engines, such as
Google, offer some interesting possibilities I have not tested.
Pricy, though, for new or small sites.

Directories

O.K. Now that you have read till this point, we commit that likewise you will have something amazing. Your unusual interest would get a surprise in the sections that follow.

To submit a listing to Yahoo requires payment of $199.
Regardless of the value of a hit to you, submit as soon as your
site is sufficiently polished. Consider it a one time
advertising cost, and don’t look back. Yahoo may deliver as
much as a third of search engine related traffic.

LookSmart is not such a sure thing. Also $199, they’re
asking too much, in my opinion. But I still recommend paying the
fee. Again, it’s a one time cost. Over time, a listing will pay
for itself, and may ultimately do so many times over.

SNAP is another matter. They also ask for $199 for a listing
in their “Top Sites” directory. I don’t think it’s worth it.
And I have not heard others recommend it. But it is an option.
Submit for free to their “Live Directory,” then walk away.

DMOZ is a must. Submitting a listing is free. And if you
find a second category into which your site fits well, a second
submission about a month later works well.

So When Should An Advertising Campaign Be Launched?

As soon as the value of a hit and a tested ad will produce
profits. Until this point is reached, advertising is a waste
of money.

For a new or sluggish site, the way to go is to keep working
at boosting your CR (Conversion Ratio). That is, continuously
examine all elements in all paths leading to sales, in search of
improvements that bring a higher CR. By increasing your CR, you
increase the value of a hit. Ignore all thoughts of advertising
until your CR is sufficient to produce a hit value high enough
to cover the costs of placing ads.

But once this happens, go for it. All out.

Email marketing 101
By Charlz Wachira
According to an article published in Business 2.0, permission based marketing, commonly known as email marketing is reported to earn a response rate of more than 11.4%, easily outdoing banners which reported a mere 0.55% response rate. Based on these statistics, it is obvious that a successful web marketing strategy should embrace email marketing as one of the key strategies. In this article I am going to discuss the nine basic principles you need to know to apply this result-generating marketing strategy for your web venture. Read on.

1) Do not Spam

In the world of internet marketing, SPAMMING is the absolute SIN. Spamming is the one area in which it is better to be safe that sorry. Spammers get blacklisted and become pariahs in not only the marketing world but in any internet related activities. The damage done by spam is deemed irreparable; in fact, the only lasting solution to sites that have been listed as spammers is to give up the whole endeavor all together and begin afresh under a different name and with a new look, a time consuming and expensive exercise.
Send out product offers and newsletters only to those who have opted in for your list. Do not be deluded into thinking that the attractiveness of your offer might offset the anger of somebody on your list receiving an email they did not ask for. As long as the person did not clearly subscribe to your list, then it is spam and you risk being blacklisted as a spammer with the aforementioned consequences.

Do you actually think this piece of information could add to your learning curve?

It was a blessing in disguise for those who were searching for Church Fundraiser. For certain it was unproductive in nature.

If you are searching for a stuff on Church Fundraiser, you can very well decide about the credibility of the report. The main aim is to reach at the concluding word to comprehend the facts.

2) Build your own email lists
There are numerous companies advertising for those interested in purchasing a custom made mailing list. Beware of these fraudsters. According to most surveys, for any purchased mailing list of about 2000 subscribers, at least 20% will be hostile, another 10% will eventually lead to dead ends and you can expect at least 15-18% to be outdated. This leaves you with a paltry 50% of the initial list. Take into account the statistics mentioned at the introduction and you are looking at less than 5% of the list purchased.
This leaves you with only one other option. Creating your own home-made mailing lists
There are many ways of achieving this but the best approach is by publishing your own e-zine and posting an announcement on community sites and related newsgroups and generating an interest before you start sending out the e-zine to those who opt in. Initially, you should count yourself lucky to have even 100 subscribers but gradually as the word spreads round, and dependingon the quality of your content this should increase to reflect on your site s popularity and rating with the target market.

3) Acknowledge all subscriptions
Subscribers do usually forget what they subscribe to and it pays to send a confirmation of the initial subscription followed sometime later by another mail to reconfirm their status before sending any email messages to them. The first confirmation message can be auto-generated text that can be easily created using any web programming language. The second re-confirmation email however should be a personalized mail that will set the atmosphere for your dealings with the subscriber. Everyone likes to be referred to by their names in any correspondence and this includes email. The purpose of this second email is twofold. On one hand it enables you to confirm the authenticity of the subscriber s email address and secondly, and more importantly it gives you a chance to explain and clarify to the subscriber what it is that they are subscribing to.

4) Maintain an updated list of all subscribers
To protect yourself from any legal backlashes, maintain an updated list of all subscribers to your e-zines. If possible you should also have the ISP addresses saved for future reference. If your subscribers choose to complain about your e-zines being an invasion of their privacy, you should be able to show them proof of their subscription, complete with dates and ISP address. This list if properly maintained can save you a lot of trouble later on.

5)Utilize the subscribers information for better service
As I mentioned earlier, people are more likely to feel a bond with you if the messages to them are personalized. Personalized salutations especially are a powerful attention grabbing way that improves the chances that the reader will read your mail and better still respond to the offer included in it.
Avoid using salutations such as To whoever it may concern , Dear Unknown , To Subscriber . Instead try to have the subscriber s name in the salutation but only when you are certain about their names, otherwise refer to them by their email addresses for example, Dear myname@yahoo.com etc. Making a mistake in the salutation ensures that your mail will never see the light of day and your effort will be wasted. Do not use any personal information provided for any purpose not clearly indicated in your Legal Disclaimer.

6) Respond promptly and clearly to all enquiries
On the Net, the best way to assure your clients of your dedication to their best interests is by a quick, clear and informative reply to their email questions. You should have a 24 hour reply service that generates automated messages in the absence of someone to reply to the subscriber s question. Good customer support is paramount to your success on the Net. Subscribers need to feel that they are cared for otherwise they will go elsewhere where they feel that their time, effort and money are going to be better appreciated.

7) Allow opt-out with every email sent
It is necessary to have an opt-out section in every email you send out to your mailing list subscribers. Humans are by nature dynamic and this means that change is inevitable. Someone who may have been interested in your newsletter may no longer have a need for it. Be sure to have clear and easy to understand instruction for anyone who for any reason might want to discontinue their receipt of your mailing. When a subscriber opts to unsubscribe, make sure that you send a confirmation mail to indicate that they have been removed from the mailing list. The subscriber should leave with no dissatisfaction as to your conduct as a Web marketer. You should avoid creating bad blood as it might come back to haunt you.

O.K. Just refrain yourself from the other informal methods of information as this write-up is among the best of the bests. If you continue to read further, we promise that your enthusiasm in this would strengthen.

8) Give something of value in return to the subscriber s time
You subscribers should feel that there is mutual benefit by their subscribing to your mailing list. When the subscriber receives any email from you, they should feel that by reading it even without taking up the offers included, that they are already gaining valuable information. Just like the content on your site, the content in your mail is important if you are to have a loyal and devoted group of subscribers.
